This is a blog for me to post and reblog pictures of rats, because I'm hopelessly in love with them and I want to keep them all filed in one neat little url.

(I've never actually owned rats, so asking me for rat advice is about as effective as trying to learn Portuguese from a Chinese speaker.)

(Howard is not dead, he just decided to look like he was the second I pulled out the camera.)
Some rats look really cute when they boggle, but others should never boggle because it looks creepy as hell.
Some rats look really possessive & creepy when they are grooming other rats.
(Howard is one of those rats.)
I guess my pants taste really good.
I like photographing Howard. He is not a great-looking rat, I mean, he’s attractive enough, he’s just not one you’d go “OMG he’s so pretty!!” immediately upon seeing, but he looks very noble.
Howard is getting more blond as he ages, but the colored part of his fur is really rusty, so I think he’ll still look orange even if he gets a lot paler.

Howie & Paxrat were inside of the boat, which is barely large enough to hold them, & Ollie was very sad that he could not also squish inside. He sat outside & stared at me with a pitiful face like he wanted me to remove Howard so that he could fit.
